pre-thanksgiving holiday

Yay for Nana and Sarah!
We had a great weekend with Drew's mom and sister.

We spent the whole time cooking and eating and playing.
What could have been better? Pretty much nothing.

As we were taking these pictures, Ruby kept trying to kiss Parkey.
It was really sweet.

One of our cooking endeavors.
Sadie Parker has taken to Giada, on the food network, and always want to play "Giada girls."
This recipe was from Martha, but its all the same to her.
Chewy chocolate gingerbread cookies.
They are really good, and chewy. More chocolaty than gingery.

This is a picture that SP took of Nana, Sarah and Rubes.
Dont you just want to take a bite out of those little cheeks?!?!

One of our holiday activities. Making a turkey out of a foam kit. His name is Sammy.
I actually had two turkeys and a pilgrim, but guess who isn't organized enough to find the other turkey and the two pilgrims.
What is wrong with me?

More cooking. Drew's favorite thing to make is breakfast foods.
On Sunday they make biscuits from scratch. I'm not sure what recipe, but it is good. I can tell you that!

And one of the highlights of the weekend was the nail salon kit that Nana brought SP.
She now has pink fingers, and one set of toes is green and the other blue.
Too many color choices to choose only one.
